Jetson has partnered with the Polish Mountain Rescue Service (GOPR) to test two Jetson ONE aircraft in real-life emergency scenarios in the Tatra Mountains. The trials included rapid-response missions to remote locations, such as the summit of Mt. Lubań (1211 m), reached in under four minutes.
Despite challenging weather conditions with gusts up to 16 m/s (36 mph, 31 KTS), the Jetson ONE demonstrated outstanding stability and control—performance that often challenges conventional ultralights helicopters. Its compact footprint, lightweight frame (115 kg), and foldable design allow for single-operator deployment from tight spaces.
Fully electric and ready to fly in seconds, the Jetson ONE eliminates the high maintenance costs typical of traditional rescue aircraft. It’s designed to serve as a “rescue spearhead”—a first responder capable of reaching casualties quickly, even in areas inaccessible by foot or ATV.
“This isn’t just a tech demo—it’s a real opportunity to enhance our operations,” said Jarosław Jurczakiewicz, Head of the Podhale GOPR Group. “In many cases, the Jetson ONE could arrive at the scene long before traditional teams, providing critical first aid when every second counts.”
Jetson is evaluating further optimization of the ONE for life-saving operations that will allow first responders to reach previously inaccessible terrain in record time.
“We are proud to test our vehicle in such a demanding environment and with such an experienced partner as GOPR. The insights gathered will help us develop the project based on the real needs of rescuers,” said Jetson founder and CTO, Tomasz Patan.
‘’Jetson ONE has a potential to cover up to 700 km² from a single mountaintop deployment. We receive inquiries from around the world whenever natural disasters strike,” said Jetson CEO, Stéphan D’haene. “The demand confirms what we believe: the Jetson ONE will save lives.”
